Introduction
Tourism is the world's leading industry. The industry has proven to generate billions of dollars in funding, and it can help people from all over the world and increase their knowledge about other cultures and languages. But unfortunately, after the development of thousands of years, we have found that tourism has a negative impact on the environment. However, for decades, people have come to know about the safety and protection of the environment and protect the natural resources for the next generation. This awareness is spread throughout the world from the United States and Europe (Agarwal and Kasliwal, 2017).
Luxury and Green are incompatible goals for the hotel industry. I disagree with this statement because today the hotel industry is implementing green designs and manufacturing practices which save energy, water, and resources and help protect the environment. In addition, the practice of green building offers guests a healthy and comfortable indoor environment for guests, including guests as well as staff. However, there is a conflict between the green building standards, practices and the satisfaction and comfort of the hotel guests, because resource conservation can reduce the quality of guest travel experience.
Luxury and Green are compatible goals for the hotel industry
The word "green hotel" describes the hotels that try to be more environmentally friendly by using effective energy, water, or materials while offering and providing best quality services. Green hotels save and conserve water saving, decreasing energy usage and reducing solid waste. Green hotels have seen advantages like lower costs and liabilities, higher returns and less risky investment, increase in profit and positive hotels cash flow. Identify these incentives and incentives to increase the green hotel popularity.
There are six points in my argument
1) The "green hotel with luxury" concept of hotel industry is to raise the awareness. The hotel industry nowadays is considered as the most energy and energy-focused areas in the tourism industry.
2) Green Hotel has been described as an environmentally friendly hotel, actively adheres to environmental guidelines, enforces environmental management, implements various environmental practices, develops sound green programs, And is committed to environmental improvement by displaying environmental-labeled or green earth signals.
3) Today, visitors show priority to destinations that protect and protect the environment (Ahn and Pearce, 2013).
4) With awareness about the safety of ecological balance, a new concept named Echo Hotel or Green Hotel emerged.
5) 5. Green Hotel with luxury is the hotel that has made significant environmental improvements in its structure to reduce its overall impact on global environment.
6) 6. Green and luxury goods have always been a growing trend in the hospitality industry, and the number of green hotels has increased in the last decade.
The hotel has always been environmentally friendly. The most expensive and inadequate use of hotel resources is generally non-renewable energy, excessive water consumption, and waste generation. Personally, there is no negative impact on the hotel's environment. But in general, they can be very derogatory and consume a lot of resources. It has also been estimated that 75% of the hotel's environmental effects can be in a straight line related to consumption. It is insufficient in resources as well as makes pointless operational costs. Hotel accommodation is often considered to cater to food, swimming pools, bars or other luxury occasions, but modern business explorers are more likely to demand indoor yoga mats and green energy policies (Dodds and Holmes, 2016). According to a poll conducted by Deloitte on 1,000 business travelers in the United States in 2008, 95% of respondents consider that the hotel industries should adopt green measures, and 38% of respondents have taken measures to identify whether the hotel is green (Ge, Chen and Chen, 2018). A delicate balance must be struck between the services provided and the impact of providing them. The answer to this dilemma may be found in the green hotel. Environmentally responsible business practices are consistent with new discoveries in ecotourism. They coordinate tourism and environmental sustainability. The property has been responding to customers’ needs as they become accustomed to environmentally conscious, health-conscious customers who want to stay, play, exercise, eat, and relax. Take measures large and small to save food and water, reduce electricity consumption and recycle. In most ways the way the hotel goes green is behind the scene. Green environmental protection not only has less impact on the environment but also saves costs and returns directly to the...
