    World Hunger: Twelve Myths: Summary of Myth One
The first myth out of twelve in the book World Hunger: Twelve Myths connects the thought of food scarcity and its abundance. In fact, most of the world’s population believes that the food scarcity is one of the major problems of the growing population and there will be a day when there will be literally no food to eat. The resources are getting diminished day after day. The author, however, contradicts the idea of the same concept and refutes the argument in the light of the fact that the food resources in the world are in abundance; they are not at all less or going to be extinct because of the rise of the population every year—though it may out some pressure on the natural resources but it simply does not mean that these resources are going to meet an end in future.
The author presents the counter argument by stating that it is not scarcity that has been seen in the developing nations...
