The major sectors of hospitality industry are;
1. Food and Beverages
2. Travel and Tourism
3. Lodging
4. Recreation
1.2 Main function of major sectors of hospitality industry

2. What are relationships between these sectors?
The four sectors, Food and Beverages, Travel and Tourism, Lodging and Recreation are connected each other. The people who wants to travel to different places use the facilities offered by other sectors in the hospitality sector. When a person is selecting a place to stay, he will consider the food and other recreational facilities provided by the service provider (Dogru et al 2019). Economic Significance of hospitality industry
Hospitality industry directly helps for strengthening the local economies, when foreigners visit the country, the spend money for buying the goods, and for staying in the hotel. Hospitality industry contributes 10.4% of global GDP and it also helps for reducing the unemployment rate
Social Significance of hospitality industry
Hospitality industry also helps for improving the relationship with people and it also helps for understanding different cultures and systems (Peters et al 2018)
