The purpose of management accounting in the organization is to support competitive decision
making by collecting, processing, and communicating information that helps management plan,
control, and evaluate business processes and company strategy. In the word of Briciu and
Capusneanu (2011), “Managerial accounting is an integral part of management that deals with
identifying, presenting and interpreting information used for strategies, decision making,
esource optimization, employee information, asset protection planning and control of activities,
information of associates or other external information users”. Thus the management accounting
helps to disseminate the information to the managers so he can take the decision in better way to
maximize the profitability of the business and achieve a sustainable growth rate in long run. He
takes the responsibility of accounting of all internal management processes and executes its
esponsibility in the good faith.
Technology has played a great role in business finance and accounting. The whole
system and process of accounting has got more simplified and reliable under the revolution of
technology. Advances in information technology have been noted as a key force in changing
management accounting (Scapens et al, 2003; Dechow et al, 2007). First of all, the whole
procedures of recording the transactions and classifying the different accounts have become
simplified. Accountants don‟t need to do such work manually. They just need to enter the figure

esponded to a specific business activity and the rest of work of classifying, making
provisions and the future projection of account balances are automatically summarized. Such
automation helps to make better management control over the business resources and activities.
