Purpose
The purpose of this assessment item is to assess a students’ ability to formulate an Academic Essay
that demonstrates a student’s critical thinking and communication skills. Students are required to
ead the following peer reviewed journal articles and be able to demonstrate critical thinking and to
communicate this thinking in an appropriate communication style.

Other graduate attributes such as problem solving, information literacy and information technology
competence, cross cultural competence and ethical practice will be assessed at an introductory level
y this assessment.

Description
The purpose of this assessment item is to assess the student's ability to formulate an essay that
demonstrates the student’s critical thinking and communication skills. Students are required to find,

Students are then asked to write a 1500 word Academic Essay answering the following topic question

“Do you believe that the peer reviewed scholarly literature from 2012 to 2018 supports the
use of ethics and social responsibility by global businesses in the cu

environment?"

Students are expected to demonstrate the critical thinking skills they have developed in tutorial
(Zoom sessions for Distance students) to assess evidence and put forward an argument regarding the
use of ethics and social responsibility in the global business environment. This assessment will
develop the use of critical thinking by the student.

Students will further demonstrate critical thinking and information literacy skills by including six peer
eviewed scholarly journals to support their argument to pass this criteria in their 'Reference List'.

It is important to understand the dynamics of the ethical position with respect to the social responsibility of the modern business managers. It is the study along with
inging in the concrete awareness in terms of reflecting in the cultural diversity along with the highlights of the ethics and social responsibility which are important in determining the imperatives for all modern managers along with the required employees. We would be evaluating the understanding of each business along with the respective manager which needs to also enact with respect to the economically viable along with the legal manner, and also includes the moral manner, with respect to the “socially responsible”.
It is important to understand and introspect the need of the peer-reviewed article with the application of the social responsibility of the modern business managers. In this paper, we would also be understanding the global business environment & understand the factors which are reflecting the influence of the business environment. There is also a need to introspect the complex role of the globalization and understand the ethics & social responsibility with respect to the business environment.
