What killed the Dinosaurs?
Dinosaurs are a group of reptiles with different types more found in  the clade Dinosauria. Though exact origin of time is not known, it is estimated by researchers that it originated 233 -234 millions years ago. 
The dinosaurs became the dominant terrestrial vertebrates after the Triassic–Jurassic extinction event 201.3 million years ago; and enjoyed their dominance during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
Dinosaurs can broadly  be divided into avian dinosaurs, or birds; and non-avian dinosaurs, which are all dinosaurs other than birds.  While avian dinosaurs still exist in types of birds, the other type became extinct.
