    Introduction
HSBC stands for Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC, 2018). The foundation of HSBC was made in 1965 to finance the increasing trade between Asia and Europe and soon it became the biggest financial Organisation in Hong Kong. As a largest banking and financial services organization in the world, it serves more than 38 million customers through four worldwide businesses: Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Commercial banking, Global banking and markets; and Global private banking. Sixty six countries and te
itories in Asia, Europe, Africa (middle east), North and Latin America are covered by the HSBC network. A range of personal, commercial corporate banking financial services are provided in Asia. In the Chinese language spoken in the south of China and used as an official language in Hong Kong, as “Wayfoong”, it means “focus on wealth” or “dispatch of the very large amount”. There are around 3800 offices of the bank in the world. The aim of the banking corporation is to provide connecting occasions to customers, to make the businesses develop and prosper the economy and help in fulfilling the desires of people and to understand their ambitions. There are more than 200000 shareholders listed in various countries of the world. For the benefits of the customers of the organization and ensure the growth of HSBC group, it is managed by the world-class chosen executives for their experience and ability to connect growing or developing markets with developed markets. The responsibilities of Chief Executive, Group Managing Director and member of the Group Management Board have been assumed by Mr. Samir Assaf on 01 January 2011. CEOs and head of the middle management officers are appointed in every country.  The function of HSBC is not based on the P.O.L.C framework; the purpose of HSBC is to be there where growth is, to enlarge the business and make the economy successful financially and ultimately fulfill the expectations of people and realize their strong desire for success.

The management structure of HSBC, Hong Kong involves three tiers of management. The top management is occupied by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The six functional departments are handled by the Functional Managers. Then there are sub-departments in each functional area, which are handled by the project managers. The managers in this structure have specific information about their only field of work. The Functional Managers directly report to the Chief Manager while the Project Managers report about the progress of the assigned projects and their completion to the Functional Managers.

ect goals for the projects in compliance with the strategic goals of the Organisation. It involves selection of a co
ect course of action to help achieve the goals of the Bank in a best possible way. The Organizing requires establishing the task and relationships that facilitate the collaborative efforts and successful achievement of the company goals. The leadership role requires motivating, energizing and coordinating the people and the groups to efficiently work in collaboration with each other to achieve the goals of the Organization. The task of controlling involves accurate measurement and establishment of evaluation measures to identify how the Organisation has achieved the objectives. The management is Organized in a Hierarchical manner that helps them to identify the issues at each step clearly and appropriately help to distribute the operations between the labor. HSBC aims to earn the profitability for its stakeholders. Each department has five or more subordinate departments who report about the completion of the task to the head of the Department. A large number of management positions in the hierarchy gives opportunities for better promotions. However, the message reaches the top management only after passing through a number of intermediate layers.
Managers and the Leaders
Manager: There are different definitions of the word ‘manager’ in different dictionaries. As per business dictionary: “An individual who is in charge of a certain group of tasks or a certain subset of a company is a manager”. Often a manager has a staff of people who report to him/her.  For example, It is seen that owner of a restaurant have front-of-house managers who help the protectors and gives supervision to hosts. There are different managers for special office projects they are known as the project managers. Certain departments of company choose their managers officially as line managers and others are known as staff managers....
