We use the data from year 1949 to 2006 to estimate the Phillips curve equation 
below. We drop 1948 as it does not have a value for the variable “cinf”.
We use the simple linear OLS method to estimate the equation above. In the data 
set, “cinf” is our dependent variable and “unem” is our independent variable.  
Our estimated regression equation looks like:
