This is the case asked the Supreme Court for determining whether the social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Google provide proper assistance to the terrorists by allegedly not taking any kind of meaningful action for preventing such terrorists from using the services from them. The Supreme Court was also asked for determining whether the similar social media platforms can be held under the Justice against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (“JASTA”), even if the services provided by Twitter not used in connection with the particular act of terrorism that caused injury to plaintiff. 
Twitter continuously terminated the accounts that were connected with the terrorist organizations or the accounts that violated its terrorism-related content’s prohibitions.
