In Microsoft Project, develop a comprehensive work breakdown structure organized by deliverable or a Life Cycle methodology. Please submit two attachments - Project Schedule (WBS) in MPP file and in PDF format.




Requirements:

































All tasks that represent total scope of the project (for class project generally XXXXXXXXXXMinimum 150 activities/tasks excluding recurring tasks such as meetings (when schedule fully developed).
Project decomposition to a manageable level (Best practice 3-5). Minimum 3.
Summary tasks/ with activities grouped appropriately
Organized by a life cycle or deliverable
Includes all project management and product related activities
Include all identified Milestones - align with your PMP
Include all product and project deliverables - align with your PMP
Project Information and Completeness


Convert to PDF:




  1. OpenMicrosoftProject, go toFile -> Openand browse for your file on the local computer or double-click on the file if you have its location opened already. Ensure you have included required fields in your Gantt Chart and Resource view.

  2. Go toFile -> Print, select PDF format as the printer to be used, choose additional printing Settings available on the page and click onPrint.

  3. In theSave PDF File Aswindow select after save actions and merging options and click OK.













PART 2





Schedule (Gantt Chart):


Using your WBS, create appropriate dependencies between your tasks. You may identify additional tasks that you didn't initially think of or you may decide to move things around a bit. Your project start and finish date should now align with the dates in PMP.In addition complete section 4 of Project Management Template.



Submit PMP (up to section 4) and MS Project (mpp and pdf) file of your project. Include WBS Id, Start Date, finish Date, Predecessor, Successor, Duration, Work, etc. of your schedule.
