In food industry, Nestle has faced food recalls incidents several times on account of detect of different issues and harmful elements found in food products. The incidents of product recall occurred in the history of Nestle several times, for example, in June 2009, Nestle USA has recalled more than 300,000 cases of refrigerated cookie-dough products. The product recall process includes chocolate-chip bars and tubs of gingerbread cookie due to element of E.coil risk in it. Initially, product defect was not known to consumers and they started consuming it on large scale (Ireland, Hoskisson & Hitt, 2012). Later on, it has found that refrigerated cookie dough need to be kept after 65 E. coil in order to preserve and maintain its nutrients quality and taste richness. On consumption of chocolate chip bars and tubs of gingerbread cookie dough, cases of illness and diseases were reported in more than 29 states, led company leaders issuing instructions to throw away packages (Ireland, Hoskisson & Hitt, 2012).
