Due to the smoke and industrial effluents, particulate matter and harmful gases like nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide, volatile organic compounds etc. gets mixed into the air and makes it polluted and unfit for the survival of human beings, animals and plants. These components if inhaled causes various respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, nervous system dysfunctions, and cancer. Since many people in developing countries belongs to low-income group, cannot even afford the costly medical facilities if gets suffered fatal disease and hence died. Therefore, there is no use of such economic growth that cost the life of the people.
