	An English-Hindi phonetic matching algorithm is the major focus of the research article. When obtaining information in a setting with multiple Indian languages, phonetic matching is crucial. Information retrieval includes looking for data from a huge database from various angles in order to do additional analysis. Indexing and rating of matching are two strategies that can be utilized to attain these goals. The strings actually represent the same term, but because languages are so complex, it's possible that different people will spell the same word differently. Since the chosen word might be spelled differently or spoken incorrectly in rural or urban locations. Different phonetic matching strategies can be utilized for retrieval in situations where accurate word matching may not yield the desired results. In this study, we proposed a method for matching Hindi strings written in Roman characters that is both quick and effective. The text-conversion method we use is effective for all Indian languages, particularly Hindi, Marathi, etc.
Solution approach
	The Hindi equivalent of the English SOUNDEX is employed in this research article. We have consonants like ka, kha, cha, ta, tha, da, etc. as well as vowels like a, aa, e, and ee.
