Refrigerator Mothers is a documentation released in 2003 by Kartemquin Films, bringing out the condition of the mothers in 1950-1960, who raised differently abled children. The children born with autism and schizophrenia were labelled as the fault of the mother as they could not make them easily admissible to the society.
