After reviewing the assignments, lectures, PowerPoint presentation, readings, and videos, you will be prepared to discuss the importance of the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) in protecting our nation’s critical infrastructure. Under the NIPP, responsibility for all 16 CIKR sectors is now given to the DHS as opposed to spreading responsibility among the respective federal agencies. For example, responsibility for all nuclear reactors, materials, and waste has been delegated to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). For this discussion, respond to the following:
