In the problems-solutions proposal it provids an overview of a problem and solution, and the budget_proposal delivered an overview of a budget. In this portion of the proposal the assignment is to further justify the proposed solution with research. However, in this portion of the proposal you are to use a discounted cash flow model.
First, identify two companies that could serve as potential vendors for the proposed solution. Then, create an itemized list of what would be acquired and include by calculating the total cost of the various proposals. (Companiesthat can be used are CSW.com and Insight.com See Vendor_Cost_Partnumbers.xls for list of itemized hardware)
Each of you will submit analysis as an Excel Spreadsheet using the net present value (NPV) discounted cash flow model. Use Excel's=NPV( ) function to determine which proposal is more financially acceptable. Use a required rate of return (Hurdle rate) of 8% for the group's analysis.
Prepare a XXXXXXXXXXword description justifying why your analysis using the NPV method suggests selecting one proposal over the other(s).
