According to the CPP Reporting necessities presented on T4 data slips we use only the “X” in the specific section of Box No.28, which is considered that the employee has excluded for the full year from C/ QPP payments which is also called EI premiums. But if the C/ QPP contributions is selected as free then the value which is appeared should be considered as free and the value which is appeared must be considered as free according to the CPP Pensionable Earnings in Box 26 as well as in the EI Insurable Earnings in Box 24. There will be zero amounts in the CPP contributions Box No.16. Also, there will be no amount in the EI premiums of Box No.18.
