Media Publicity and Sensationalizing:
In the modern era and in the field of television journalism and media coverage the media outlets and the entire community is blamed for for sensationalism in today's news coverage. Reporters and media houses are criticized for exaggerating the facts in the name of getting higher TRP ratings or more newspaper subscriptions, and has become a trend in the war of supremacy in the cut throat competition of the media houses. This is more due to the fact that news is readily available in all sorts of tolls these days unlike the 19th century when news was followed mainly through television and radio. Due to such factors people these days has branded the news media as false and being driven by sensationalism. Any journalist should commit to delivering factual, accurate stories every time, but this is not so due to the pressure of performance and the rating demand in this competition ear of media outlets survival among so many competitions.
