The legal support is being offered by the government of USA. It is revealed by the fact in 2016 election where Hillary Clinton considered child care as a critical economic issue and therefore proposed to offer quality and affordable child care as a national priority. But it also reveals that political support as well as legal support for child care is not up to the mark in United States. The cu
ent approach towards the child care is criticised by Bernie Sanders as inadequate. The efforts such as offering tax credit for child care to the low income and middle class income groups and average benefits of $4900 for child care are deemed as insufficient (Hamm, 2015). The United States also does not offer a legal right to the child for early education for some of children between the ages of birth till attaining age of five. The unites states is ranked lower in the economic corporation and development states for early care and education programs initiated for children (Mead, 2017). These factors suggest that there is lack of political and legal support by the government.
The day care centres are also running well and are rated only fair or poor. Only 10 percent of the day care is offering superior day care.
Social environment
The social environment suggests that some of the Childs from the African American community may not receive proper care. These children are denied to some extent educational opportunities (West, 2016). This is due to stigma factor towards the African American children this disequili
ium takes place for child care.
The social environment of the African American families, their involvement in criminal activities and their use of illegal drugs create unsupportive environment for the child education and child care.
Economic environment
The cost of the childcare is also increasing becoming unaffordable for the families of middle to low income groups. The child care is a major cost considered in USA and eats up a larger portion of the family income. Between the 2000 and 2012, middle class families experienced child care expenses increase by $2300 but the waged remained static. The situation is more pathetic for the families living under poverty (Hamm, 2015).
