	The rhetoric device ad is with respect to the BMW company anti drink and driving campaign. The ad states not to do any act while driving which can lead to disability and is a warning of horrible fate. This is a type of scare tactics which is focused through this ad. Further, the message is unclear for the people who are unfamiliar with the driving of vehicles. The specific ad shows how a man is standing with one original leg and another artificial or prosthetic leg on his feet. The ad is definitely a dramatic commercial and jerks at the heartstrings. This is an ad of BMW who wants people to indulge in safe drive instead of drink and drive. But it may be possible that the person who drink and drives reaches his home safely or that the car is driven by a driver who is not drunken while the owner is intoxicated. If so then this ad will be irrelevant but a warning signal for them. On the other hand, BMW promotes itself being the safest car consisting of various safety equipment implanted inside and the ad depicting a person with one aesthetic leg displays the negativity of BMW and will raise questions with respect to safety of the car. 
Analysis
According to research there are large variances in alcohol related accidents in various countries and this percentage ranges from 2% to 38% of the total number of accidents. According to an official data of various countries surveyed, the study shows that the weighted average road accidents deaths due to alcohol consumption is 21.8%. But since this data is collected from various countries and most of the road crash investigation is dependent on the police crash report, hence there are huge discrepancies in the data.
