                        Similarities and differences of cloud & fog computing
The basic point of similarity between Fog and cloud computing is its advanced capability of collecting, producing and processing huge amounts of data in sustainable way. For meeting growing demands of handling, storing and processing large amounts of data, business professionals are in need of fog and cloud computing for doing things in better and improved way. Fog and cloud computing are interconnected in nature, in scientific terms, fog is considered as more closer to earth as compared to clouds. In the technological sense, fog computing is considered as more closer to end-users, bringing and aligning cloud capabilities more closely with the users. Fog can be said as an advanced extension of cloud computing, as it is equipped with multiple edge nodes connected to physical devices, therefore, in better and improved position of handling and processing data (Gupta and Agrawal, Dharma, 2019).
