I would recommend this book to you because here, the author describes Sherlock’s character as a clever intelligent, best observer and the emotional or understanding person, which is the best part to read. He also makes him a darker character to show his cocaine addiction, but the Sherlock done his professional work with effectiveness. For example, in the “A case of identity” story when girl come to Sherlock for searching his lover, Sherlock quickly understand that she is a typewriter that shows how fast he observe the things and how proficient in his work. The Sherlock is the hero of this series of short stories.

The book “the adventures of Sherlock Holmes” are the best mysterious book, which has a character of detective who is proficient in his work, and quickly find the suspects and the criminals. In addition, Dr. Watson who is the author of book and told the all stories to reader is the friend of Sherlock. This all are believable things, but the cocaine addition of any detective is not suitable because if a detective is not in good state of mind due to drugs how can he work like professionally or effectively are told in the stories.
Also, he suffer from a metal decoders a minor case of Bipolar Disorder, and a hint of Savant Syndrome which is called Asperser’s Syndrome still he work very effectively this is unbelievable. Second is story “a case of identity” in this a father cheated his daughter to make her his girlfriend for the money and after the end Sherlock do not take any action for that person. He can take a little bit action like take the money again, which is taken by the father by his daughter. This is little unbelievable things that a detective done.

The short story “Indian Camp” is set in the backdrop of Indian camp, which were common in those days in the early 1900s, when Native Americans had to live offshore from the general population, in the small camps, where living standards were quite low and the basic needs to live lives securely were lacking majorly.
The story begins with Dr. Adams being called to assist an American Indian woman who has been in excruciating labor for two days one night. The physician
ings his little son, Nick, and George, his sibling, to the American Indian camp across a lake in northern Michigan. In order to deliver the baby, the doctor there uses a fishing knife, catgut, and a makeshift caesarean with no anesthesia.

ible experience, he learns that the woman's husband, who was in the bunk above hers, silently slit his throat. This affects the little boy Nick, to such an extent that his last question at the end of the story is for understanding the difficulties, which might come with the act of dying.

Out of all the short stories, which Hemingway wrote, I have chosen the short story named “Indian Camp”, because it is the one, which has touched me the most. Being a very emotional person, both life and death mean a lot to me; and the short story “Indian Camp” has just depicted that, with both life and death taking place in the same backdrop. The amalgamation of the baby taking birth in the Indian camp with the death of its father right on the upper bunk has been spine-chilling yet evoking enough to draw a tear or two from the eyes of the reader. Nevertheless, this short story would also be liked by any practical person, for whom life and death are mere processes.
