Franklin Patrick "Frank" He
ert Jr., more famously known as Frank He
ert, was born on 8 October 1920 at Tacoma, Washington in the United States of America. He was majorly a science fiction writer, having several American Sci-Fi novels to his credit.
Out of all his creations, his 1965 novel Dune and its five sequels have been the most renowned ones, which became the hands-down winners of the bestselling sci-fi novels of all times. In fact, the movie, Star Wars, has been inspired and created from this novel series only, which is an immediate favorite of many sci-fi genre lovers.

Summary of the Novel
All of us, i
espective of our age groups, have been a fan of the "Star Wars" films. Well, it would be wrong to say that this movie is an independent creation because this has drawn major inspirations from the novel series of He
ert, called “Dune”. In this novel, the main protagonist, is the young Paul Atreides, who is the heir to a noble family. He is burdened with controlling a hostile world where the only valuable item is the "spice" melange, a stimulant that can lengthen life and elevate awareness, is the protagonist of the novel Dune, which is set on the desolate planet A
akis. People will kill to obtain melange since it is prized throughout the known galaxy. Melange, the main source of which is the planet A
akis, is the foundation of the entire universe' economic system. Because of this spice, one house gets attacked by another.
Why Should I Recommend This Novel To You?
In my opinion, you should read the novel mostly because of Frank He
ert's inventive world building and environment. The story's political, theological, and philosophical concerns are, in many ways, significantly more important than the science fiction elements. Despite being a work of science fiction, the major focus should not be on the science and technologies covered in the book.
Quotes Picked For You & The Most Interesting Parts!!
The first 40% of the book are covered in a movie that is likewise based on the book. The movie was released in 2020, and it is a fantastic adaption that can make viewers want to check out the source material. Since the movie only lasts three hours, I would advise reading the book beforehand. It has roughly 180 pages. It still offers a lot.
The most fascinating aspects of the novel are its politics, world building, economy, and various inhabitants of its flora and fauna. Here are some more justifications for reading it:
Astronautics;
Philosophical and theological conundrums
An intriguing plot;
A planet with its own secrets and mythology;
The source of many other well-known science-fiction literature;
Parallels to actual life

Why Should I Recommend This Book To You?
I would recommend this book to you because here, the author describes Sherlock’s character as a clever intelligent, best observer and the emotional or understanding person, which is the best part to read. He also makes him a darker character to show his cocaine addiction, but the Sherlock done his professional work with effectiveness. For example, in the “A case of identity” story when girl come to Sherlock for searching his lover, Sherlock quickly understand that she is a typewriter that shows how fast he observe the things and how proficient in his work. The Sherlock is the hero of this series of short stories.
Quotes Picked For You & The Most Interesting Parts!!
The book “the adventures of Sherlock Holmes” are the best mysterious book, which has a character of detective who is proficient in his work, and quickly find the suspects and the criminals. In addition, Dr. Watson who is the author of book and told the all stories to reader is the friend of Sherlock. This all are believable things, but the cocaine addition of any detective is not suitable because if a detective is not in good state of mind due to drugs how can he work like professionally or effectively are told in the stories.
Also, he suffer from a metal decoders a minor case of Bipolar Disorder, and a hint of Savant Syndrome which is called Asperser’s Syndrome still he work very effectively this is unbelievable. Second is story “a case of identity” in this a father cheated his daughter to make her his girlfriend for the money and after the end Sherlock do not take any action for that person. He can take a little bit action like take the money again, which is taken by the father by his daughter. This is little unbelievable things that a detective done.

'Is dying hard, Daddy?'
'No, I think it's pretty easy, Nick. It all depends.‘
Ernest Miller Hemingway, better known as Ernest Hemingway, was born on 21 July 1899 in Oak Park, Illinois, Chicago. He was a renowned short-story writer, novelist and journalist, who has penned six collections of short stories, two non-fictitious works and seven novels.
His contribution to the American English Literature is unfathomable. He has seen both the World Wars, and these have only majorly reflected in his writing styles. In fact, even in his choice of scenarios and backdrops of the short stories, once can predominantly find the glimpses as well as the tu
ulences of the World Wars, which affected him deeply.

Author: Ernest Hemingway
Summary of the Short Story
The short story “Indian Camp” is set in the backdrop of Indian camp, which were common in those days in the early 1900s, when Native Americans had to live offshore from the general population, in the small camps, where living standards were quite low and the basic needs to live lives securely were lacking majorly.
The story begins with Dr. Adams being called to assist an American Indian woman who has been in excruciating labor for two days one night. The physician
ings his little son, Nick, and George, his sibling, to the American Indian camp across a lake in northern Michigan. In order to deliver the baby, the doctor there uses a fishing knife, catgut, and a makeshift caesarean with no anesthesia.
After the ho
ible experience, he learns that the woman's husband, who was in the bunk above hers, silently slit his throat. This affects the little boy Nick, to such an extent that his last question at the end of the story is for understanding the difficulties, which might come with the act of dying.
Why Should I Recommend This Short Story To You?
Out of all the short stories, which Hemingway wrote, I have chosen the short story named “Indian Camp”, because it is the one, which has touched me the most. Being a very emotional person, both life and death mean a lot to me; and the short story “Indian Camp” has just depicted that, with both life and death taking place in the same backdrop. The amalgamation of the baby taking birth in the Indian camp with the death of its father right on the upper bunk has been spine-chilling yet evoking enough to draw a tear or two from the eyes of the reader. Nevertheless, this short story would also be liked by any practical person, for whom life and death are mere processes.
Quotes Picked For You & The Most Interesting Parts!!
The most interesting part of this short story, as I have already illustrated before, is the fact that the story very beautifully depicts the coexistence of both life and death, yet without making the story a ho
endous explanation of the same. It might sound too much practical. Yet this is important, for many especially children to accept that both life and death are processes, which take place in their due time. Hence, ending one’s life on their own is not a solution to any problem.
Also, this tale serves as an excellent illustration of what is known as an "initiation story," a
ief na
ative in which the protagonist encounters a concept, ritual, experience, or knowledge for the first time. Nick Adams, a young man who resembles Hemingway himself, is the primary character in most of the initiation stories that Hemingway authored, often known as "rite of passage" stories.
