Exploring religion as a means of healing in ‘Healers of Ghana’
The film “Healers of Ghana” was an insightful movie that helped me realize the deep connection between religion and healing prevalent in the Ghanaian culture. The people of Techiman as an example have been shown on how their religious beliefs impact their seeking medical treatment and care. 
What particularly interested me in the film was the way collaboration was created between the various healers in Techiman, including Christian, Muslim as well as local religious healers along with Western healers.
