Currently, many newspaper and Internet articles are covering how the hotel industry will redesign its processes in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Any redesign will have to consider the balance between quality and productivity carefully.

Requirements

You are to consider how the Four Seasons Hotel chain will achieve that balance in response to the current environment. Some of the key questions and theories you should consider are:

There is still no vaccine or specified medicine for the Covid19 disease, and that has made the virus all the more dangerous and killer.
As the virus continues to take lives in thousands daily throughout the world, and the pharmaceutical companies and scientists struggling to find a measure, the world is finally learning to live with the deadly virus slowly and steadily. The governments of many countries are now loosening up the lockdown and curfew norms, people are coming out of their boredom which never seemed and are trying to find some solace in the leisure industries. In this crucial time period, the hotels and resorts must take proper care of guest safety and hygiene and adjust themselves in response to the Coronavirus or Covid19 pandemic.

The whole world is trying to contain its spread through various measures and policies, but to no end. Coronavirus continues to prove fatal to a multitude of global population. In approximately 15 days, Covid19 is capable of causing death to an otherwise healthy individual. Like most other industrial sectors, the leisure industry is also facing the wrath of the virus and its global exploits. The leisure industry is going through one of its worst times now, with heavy losses being dealt with. It is a great question now that if the leisure industry will be able to stand up on its feet after this global pandemic.
