Topic
One of the major factors that influences job satisfaction, work performance and staff turnover, is the incidence of stress at work (van Deventer 2016:295). Stress in the school environment is associated with continuous change aimed at improved excellence, the added responsibilities of a school-based management a
angement, and teacher’s intense involvement with learners and parents on a day-to-day basis (Yong & Yue 2007:80 cited in van Deventer 2016:295).
