The Asian art is far different from the art in West. Yet, there were artistic development with respect to the culture, religion, social circumstances, political beliefs in exclusive manner. In this analysis we will try to focus on the main themes and the qualities with respect to the art in the two countries during the 14th century. Further, the countries we have chosen for this analysis are China and Japan. Through this evaluation we will try to appraise the various themes used for the artistic development in China and Japan. Based on this element it can be stated that the culture of writing which is used in Japan was originated in China. This helped to influence the early Chinese civilization as well as had a tremendous impact on the visual art of the future eras in Japan. It was after the world was and isolation of Japan from rest of the nation the architect of the country as well as the painters took a different turn, a new style of art was created in their own form along with innovative ideas which was solely based on the Japanese principles and themes. In this essay the main theme that will be focused on will be a comparison and contrast of the Chinese civilization which influenced the early art of Japan. This also helped the artists of the country to develop modernized and exceptional ways for expressing the national identity, beliefs as well as the culture.
Analysis
China and Japan have developed cultural as well as historical differences and there can be various contrasts which can be discovered between the two. However, there are many similarities and connections with respect to the artistic practices and traditions with respect to Japan and China. Both the Chinese and the Japanese artists paid great attention to the nature works. This was because according to the philosophies of both the countries human being was considered as the essential and dynamic part of landscape.
