Everyday Object’ paper (20%) – No later thanNov. 27 at 11:59pm, you will submit a short essay analyzing the politicaleconomy of an everyday object of your choosing. A main reference for thisproject will be the I-PEEL website. While you can choose an object that isfeatured there, your analysis should not simply be a repetition of theirs. Iwould instead encourage you to be inspired and guided by those examples, but tochoose your own object. We can think collectively in class about acceptableobjects, but the range is very wide! You should use at least 3 course readingsin your paper and a maximum of 3 external sources. The sources should berelatively equally used (i.e., don’t primarily rely on one source, throwing theothers in on a superficial basis). As part of your analysis, you can reflect onwhat the PE of your object says about the broader system of capitalism. I wouldencourage you to draw on one or more theoretical approaches to politicaleconomy we have examined in the course. Your paper should be in the range of XXXXXXXXXXwords.
Ex:
●Political economy of vaccines?
●How do property rights affect the environment?
●can be an activity we do ineveryday life — reflection of the political economy in everyday life likefarmers markets or cleaning services
