THE REPORT IS ABOUT:
Case study on SDG #6, you are to consider two countries – Canada and Kenya– and do the following:
· Assess where each country sits on a scale of 1 to 10, in terms of cu
ently meeting the various targets associated with this SDG.
· Identify a region(s) in each country where the problems addressed this SDG are most clearly reflected in the cu
ent local situation. Research the region(s) in each country and write an analysis of the cu
ent state of affairs there, as an example of what needs to be done to meet the SDG.
· Devise a plan for meeting the requirements of the various targets in this SDG, with a timeline for completion by 2030.
· Since meeting these targets requires the cooperation of the people who live in these countries
egions, identify what ethical perspective(s) you intend to work from, and how you intend to persuade (or coerce) them to cooperate.
· Do include a comparison of the countries Kenya, Tunisia and Somalia to Canada, as they show the different clean water sanitation levels in Africa. Tunisia being the highest in water sanitation, Kenya being a mid-level trying to make efforts to reach the goal by 2030 and Somalia being no action has been taken.
· Include a little of how the different ethics fall into the SDG6 Goals; Care Ethics as it is a duty to all Canadians to have equal right to clean water. Utilitarian Ethics; doesn’t benefit everyone and too costly. ETC.
