Change is on the horizon for the first time in nearly a century. “Almost major carmaker is working on electric vehicles, from behemoths like Toyota and GM to start-ups like Tesla and Fisker. According to some industry analysts, the majority of new automobiles will be electric within the next two decades. Others say that the internal combustion engine will be around for a long time (Perkins & Murmann, 2018).
Tesla Motors will be at the forefront of the worldwide electric revolution, which will alter our nation's infrastructure, the global economy and how we think about transportation today. Tesla has led the change by mass manufacturing the first line of all-electric automobiles as the first public American automotive manufacturer since Ford. If we want to alter the world for the better, we must thoroughly examine the domestic, international and environmental repercussions of the shift by future researches.”

Tesla Motors, created in 2003 by a group of engineers and entrepreneurs, sparked a shift in the automotive industry toward a more environmentally friendly future. “Tesla chose to manufacture in California, away from the Big Three's home base of Detroit. Tesla's Palo Alto offices reflect the company's disdain for the status quo as well as its concentration on cutting-edge technology (Shao et al., 2021).
Despite the fact that the automobile industry includes hundreds of competitors, power remains concentrated in the hands of a few industrial behemoths: GM, Toyota and Volkswagen are the three largest. Consumer power is quite high in the traditional car sector, thanks to cheap switching costs and a large selection of largely interchangeable products.
