unacceptable errors. According to the American Association for Justice, every year 
approximately 98,000 die due to unacceptable errors. Besides this the total costs associated 
with injury caused due to medical errors amounted to approximately USD 30 billion. Besides 
increasing the cost of healthcare services, these errors also impact the healthcare 
professionals who might lose their morale and may even regard the system of medical 
liability as a barrier to their professional growth. According to the report “Crossing the
