Humans live in a society and bind with values, norm, belief as well as attitude. These factors help humans to act civilized and work efficiently in a system. It has been seen that values are developed in people throughout their journey of life. Developed values can be modified or evolved with the maturity of the person. On the contrary, religion is a guiding force, which help people to live the way of life. Most of the people are attached to the religion and they practice their religion very enthusiastically. People mostly take comfort in following the religion and consider it as a way to escape the stress of their daily lives. When religion is a hope of person, their values is hope to keep their humanity alive. Both religion and value have strong connection with each other.
Values
Values can be defined as the principles, qualities and standards, which people give very high regard. These values act as guide for the individual to live the way of life and make the decisions. Most of the people have some values, which they hold throughout their life. These values have very high influence on all the decisions taken by the people in their life (Lipset). Values are developed by the belief of the people, which is considered worthy of including in the behavior. There are many values followed by the people, these values include power, conformity, security, achievement, hedonism, tradition, universalism, simulation, benevolence and self-direction (Kosambi).
There are basic human values, which are considered as the core of the being human. These values are usually passed from parents to the children. The values, which all human must inherit, are truth, loyalty, honesty, love and peace as these basic values help in
inging out the fundamental goodness in the human, which is necessary to run the society, as each human is a core element of the society. These basic values are universal followed across social, religious, cultural and sectarian interest (Jones et al.).
