Question Help 1

1a)Load acting on the slab=0.15*25=3.75 kN/m2 (assuming f’c=N25)
Load that comes on BC is half from the adjacent slabs
=3.75*6
=22.5 kN/m

Load that comes on CF is half from the adjacent slabs
=3.75*6
=22.5 kN/m

Load that comes on DE is half from the adjacent slabs
=3.75*6
=22.5 kN/m

)

Total Load on the upper slab=
3.75*8*24
=720 kN

Total Load on the Lower slab=
3.75*17*24
=1530 KN

As the columns are equally spaced will take equal amount of load.

AB will take=1530/10
=153 kN i.e one-tenth of the total load in the lower slab as there are 10 columns.
