The scandal by Uber is one of the biggest data breaches that occurred, but this was more serious because the company paid the Information Technology (IT) employee for not reporting this data breach which would otherwise have been reported and the same would have been mitigated, but because the company paid the employee some amount the employee resisted and the data breach was never reported but because this was a data breach it had to come out, and when the world came to know about this the whole of millions of customers who got affected asked questions about ethics and other moral values that Uber has promised.
The millions of customer records that got affected because of this data breach affected a total of 57 million people including both the users and the drivers of the company and that is the reason why this got serious.
