	In the context of the evolution of human life, the overall perceptions related to the technical growth are pretty much affecting. In fact, the technology and its revolutionary nature have changed how the assumptions about the world can be framed. In this context, the literal productions based on scientific fiction give insightful views of how the process of urban culture will appear in future and how it has attempted to redefine the human culture on social, political and economic grounds. The approach of N K Jamisin in the book The City We Became is one of such factors which the author examines in the portrayal of a city as a remarkable ‘being’ in the lives of people. 
The Urbanization
	Jamisin’s first book, The City We Became is from her Great Cities series which asks a question about what if a city had a soul?  She talks about the monstrous army that threatens the city. There is nothing extraordinary about the fact that the setting of her novel is in a city life.
