Ben Samuel had a good leadership skill as a plant manager. The top three skill he had present as plant manager are:
1. Employee’s Welfare – It is known as the act of personal effort which ensure the employee’s value of life. A welfare can be anything in this case study Ben Samuel taken care of the Employee’s welfare in terms of the social activities, team picnic and holiday’s plan. It can be categorized as two typed:
1. Statuary Welfare – A statuary welfare could be anything like Drinking water facility, comfortable work space a
angements, First aid appliances. In this case study Ben Samuel ensure the statutory welfare like by taking care of the temporary medical disability. Instead of layoff, he used to plan the suitable department to work for the said employee.
2. Non statutory welfare - A non-statuary welfare for the product-based companies is like flexible time, Individual healthcare program etc. In this case study plant manager Ben Samuel ensure the non-statutory welfare like flexible timing, employee’s assistance program.
