In this assignment you are required to investigates the Global impact on the environment posed by the construction and built environment sector, whilst evaluating the technical and legal processes and procedures used to
eliminate or minimise the environmental impact and achieve sustainable construction.

Task 2
Produce a report from your understanding of the wider global issues at the various stages of design and construction of a project and evaluate how a projects environmental impact should be executed.
Discuss considerations for the construction industry’s future impact on the environment.
Examine the methods used to minimise global impact on the environment initiated by the built environment sector. (3.1, 3.2)
For D2 provide a detailed review about how a developer could manage the impact which a project has on the environment, including the ways in which this could be monitored and documented.
Identify and describe indoor environmental issues including ideal air quality level and report on how ‘Sick Building Syndrome’ (SBS) effects building occupants and evaluate existing procedures used to minimise the effects of ‘Sick Building Syndrome’ your report must answer how can designers reduce the prevalence of SBS symptoms. (4.1, 4.2)
