Introduction
American Landfills in New York face major environmental challenges related to waste generation and wastes collection, transportation, treatment and disposal. The present system of landfill in New York can not affect the rising amount of waste generated by the urban population and the environment and public health. A preferential waste is going through a dump, which does not provide environmental protection for waste management which reserves useful resources in the economy (Yoada, Chirawurah & Adongo, 2014). The separation of recyclable content is an important role by separating waste from sources and using specific waste management facilities. After the extraction of material resources, disposal of the remaining wastes is to be demanded for land as well as for the design of waste. Landfill energy power is an important opportunity for methane excitation or heat treatment, but a big obstacle is the lack of qualified engineers and environmental professionals who provide improved waste management systems in New York.
