This assessment task is the two of two tasks you are required to complete as part of this unit.
Student must read the Assessment Policy available at www.aischool.edu.au:
 
Some important information about assessment completion are:
· Students must attempt all of the questions within an assessment, otherwise a Not Yet Satisfactory (NYS) will be given. Unanswered questions will cause the assessment to result as NYS.
· Assessments that are not received by their DUE dates or attempted will be resulted as Not Attempted (NA) and count as an attempt.
· Students can only submit their Third and make Final attempt during Re-Assessment Week in week 12 of the Term the unit was delivered.
· Students who have not attempted the assessments and as a result do not achieve a Competent (C) result for the unit delivered in a term are required to redo the unit.
· Students who are required to re-do a unit may have to extend the duration of their CoE at their own expense and that application themselves.

Part B: Conduct a Stakeholder Meeting
For this part of the assessment task you will need to present the policy and procedure you developed for Part A of this assessment task to AIS Beauty Salon Management and Staff.
You will need to organise a meeting forming a group (3-5 members) assuming where at least one member of the management team and two members of staff are present. During the meeting your assessor will observe you communicate the policy and procedure, seek feedback and approval.
Before you can start this task, you will need to:
· Complete Part A of this assessment task.
During the meeting you will need to:
· Communicate your policy and procedures to the stakeholder group.
· Explain how they will assist in the achievement of operational objectives and contribute to an effective and efficient recruitment, selection, and induction process. (Complete this section by using meeting minutes template)

Part C: Initiate the Recruitment Process
For this part of the assessment task you will need to initiate the recruitment process for one role within the AIS Beauty Salon. The recruitment process will be simulated, that is, you will not actually hire someone. Instead you will go through the same processes as though you were recruiting a person for an actual role within the organisation.
First you will need to nominate a role you are to ‘recruit’. In consultation with AIS Beauty Salon Management, you are to select a role on which to base this assessment. It is strongly advised that you select a role that is already established within the team. Avoid creating a new role for this task.
Before you can start this task, you will need to:
· Complete Part A and Part B of this assessment task.
· Download the Job Description Template from Moodle (also available in Appendix C).
· Consult with the manager and select a role on which you wish to base this part of the assessment task.
To complete this task, you will need to:
· Consult with the manager about a role that needs ‘recruitment’.
· Check that the position description (i.e. job description) is cu
ent and accurately reflects the job role.
· Develop a draft employment advertisement that can be used on selected employment media. Ensure that the advertisement complies with the policy you wrote in Part A of this assessment task as well as any legislative obligations.

· Identify a student with whom you can simulate the interview. Your assessor can assist with this if needed.
