The study sheds lights on the critical internal and external motivators of River wood, a retail company dealing in logistics located in Singapore. The present study also illustrates the different management issues faced by this company in retaining success in business (, 2018).

iers whenever any company tries to operate in a particular country. In view of Chopra et al. (2017, p.183), government set rule and regulations are major dominant issues that a company must comply with.
The company River wood is managing its political domain effectively in relation to its major business operation as part of supplying logistics for military procurement. In managing economic ba
iers, the company has already expanded its area of operation. The company is also effectively managing its financial activities by focusing on six areas of logistics.
River wood capital invest in divisional carve outs and growth of equity financing and industry roll ups firms. The estimated annual revenue of River wood is $17.3M with 10 estimated employees. There are several disadvantages associated to socio-economic terms with relative score was 11 on 100 across Australia.

· Technological factors
The levels of technological interventions change depending on the nature and capacity of a business. As opined by Lingens et al. (2016, p.40), the implication of technology in society creates an impact on a company.
In terms of logistics, technology plays crucial role in managing the part of the major modern technological interventions. It is highly conglomerating the major parts of the technology to deal with diverse customers. Technological factors determine the success or failure of a respective company. In association to River wood, the company deals with wide range of logistics solutions with retail logistics involving free-trade zone, warehouse solutions, customer services and distribution services. Freight solutions, moving solutions and e-commerce are other vast ranges of River wood that determines the global position of the respective company. River wood logistic solutions are both of a product and a driver for fourth industrial revolution.
· Legal factors
There is some universal regulation in operating a business legally. This entails the employment of cost, contract, time and resources. All the products sold by a particular company must ca
y forward the health and safety factors within it for its customers.
There are several legal factors that are part of the company’s exclusive regulatory control. This helps to cater to balancing the major legal decisions for managing a business. The logistics industry is highly related to the environmental factors that are essential to manage and operate the business successfully. The weather of Australia deals with a moderate temperature that helps to stabilise the business centrally. Figure 1: PESTLE
(Source: Trigeorgis and Reuer, 2017, p.56)
About the analysis given above, it is found that the company River wood needs to take care of all of the issues to operate its business successfully (, 2018). The company is well planned in case of considering all of its present strengths by implicating all factors included in PESTLE. The gap that is seen in River wood is the management an utilisation of media that plays key role in promoting any
and and its product.
· The analysis of the company is exclusive of its present set of resources with all legal and moral obligations. But as expressed by Davcik and Sharma (2016, p.5548), the company is lacking in managing its media factor as this is an advantage for any company to promote its existence in the market.
· Media plays a dominant role in influencing the minds of customers through the use of penetration strategies.
· Volatility
As suggested by Trigeorgis and Reuer (2017, p.50), in case of instability, the company has sufficient knowledge, but it is not able to measure the effect of any uncertain change.
Volatility can be stated as the degree of variation of trading prices over time that is measured by standard deviation of logarithmic returns. The concept of volatility is gaining new relevance to the characterizing the cu
ent environment (Fo, 2018). The customers across Singapore are disappointed that Amazon Prime is overwhelmed with demand and the company is underestimating the enthusiasm and not accepting deliveries and making false promises.
· Uncertainty
There is excessive knowledge in case of occu
ence of an event. But in the case of the changing situation, the company does not know how to cope up with the changing nature of ambience. The company River wood facing such uncertainty must get ready with new sources of external knowledge about the predictions (, 2018). There are several uncertain cases faced by a logistic company that involves transportation issues and certain cancellation of ordered products. According to the Strait Times, the response of Amazon is ‘due to great customer response, delivery is cu
ently unavailable.’
· Complexity
This may include the complications in organisational structure and also in case of operation of several departments (Singh and Singh, 2016, p.78). The complexity and sky-high interest of the relationship of Riverwood with Amazon Prime leads to impose of pressure on the logistics partners. If Amazon stops accepting orders, the logistics partners would ensure the deliveries on time.
· Ambiguity
In some cases, companies fail to address the causes of specific changes, in such cases; the managers fail to predict the outcomes of such changes. Amazon chooses to make partner with third party to handle the logistics with River wood. Amazon Prime and River wood are supported by Ninja Van, most successful start-up of Singapore.
