As an office manager, you are reviewing the budget every month to determine what your
costs are. When reviewing the budget, you see that your payroll is over-budget the last two
months. The volume of patients is not higher than anticipated so you cannot say it is due to
increased patient visits. Your physician states that you must make changes to bring this
number down, without affecting the efficiency of the office.
