· Whether or not the candidate served as governor
· Background and family history
· Whether or not the candidate has served as Vice-President
· Has there been any association and voluntarily work for NGOs
· Is there any connection with armed forces, has one served in defence forces
· Age of the candidate - whether he is 50 or younger
Indeed, I do believe that above mentioned characteristic aren’t set in stones. Precisely, like voters only base their judgement on these parameters. Timing and political environment do play a significant role in shaping the decision of the elections. For instance, in most recent US elections, people were more inclined towards Anti-Trump that legitimizing the characteristic fo the candidate. Essentially, this US election can be classic example of how environment and political climate can mould as well as influence the decision.
