A large industrial complex has four 5 MVA generators each of reactance 0.08 pu supplying the busbars of its power station. Determine the rating of any circuit breakers connected to the busbars.

Due to increased electricity demand in the factory it is proposed to make a connection to the grid through two 2 MVA transformers in parallel each with a reactance of 0.1 pu. The fault level at the grid connection point is 1000 MVA. What will now be the required rating of circuit breakers connected to the busbars?
