A harmonic voltage source is represented by vs = 340 sin(377t) + 100 sin(1131t) + 30 sin(1885t) V The voltage source is connected to a load impedance of Zl = (5 + j0.2ω) Ω through a cable whose inductive reactance is Zcable = j0.01ω Ω. The load is compensated by a 200 μF capacitor bank connected in parallel to the load. Compute the voltage across the load and the voltage across the cable impedance.

For the compensated load in Figure 13.18, assume the load impedance is composed of 10 Ω resistance in series with 0.1 H inductance. The transmission line inductance is 0.01 H and the compensation capacitor is 100 μF. The source voltage contains several harmonics. Use any simulation software and find the frequency at which the voltage across the load is at its maximum value.
