Answer 1. Our stories view structure of families as a window to either our experience or distillation of different experiences witnessed for our close friends and loved ones. Essentially, this assessment how an individual perceives his/her family vis-a-vis how society views families are not always same. Society takes time that spans across many years to accept certain changes and harness new ways of living. Majority of time there is a lag between how an individual view family structures relative to how society views the family.
