Resolved: Living an ethical life leads to a good life.
Using your own experience as an example, take a position:
A. Agree, living an ethical life leads necessarily leads to a good life.
B. Disagree, living an ethical life does not necessarily lead to a good life.
C. Amended, living an ethical life CAN lead to good life, but there are conditions under which this may or may not happen.
I will be looking for the following content components in your argumentative essay:
1. An introductory paragraph that contains a short introduction to the topic, a thesis statement, and a

2. Define a good life is and how your position will lead to it. What role does rationality play in this achievement? What role do other people play?
3. A description of a background metaphysical understanding of the universe, which includes naming and describing 2 OR 3 characteristics or traits humans possess that fit into that metaphysical understanding.
4. A definition of an ethical life and description of at least 2 limitations humans struggle with that are obstacles to leading an ethical life.
5. Give 2 or 3 reasons or examples that support your position, in light of the second and third components, using the sources we’ve studied.
6. A conclusion paragraph.
7. ** One final component that is not included in the essay itself is an OUTLINE. It doesn’t need to be a formal outline, but one that gives a
ief sketch of each part of your essay. This will be due 26NOVEMBER.
In writing your response, you may call upon any of the sources we have read so far. What concepts or philosophical theories are most amenable to your own ideas? This means
