1. Labor Force = Employed + Unemployed = (350 + 60) million = 410 million
Unemployment Rate = (Unemployed/Labor Force) * 100
= (60/410) * 100 = 14.6%
Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) = (Labor Force/Civilian Noninstitutionalized Population) * 100
Civilian Noninstitutionalized Population = Labor Force + People not in labor force but are in working age group = (410 + 50) million = 460 million
LFPR = (410/460) * 100 = 89.1%
