PROS:
Mandatory vaccinations are something that’s long been debated. In modern healthcare system, vaccinations play a major role in prevention of an out
eak of several life threatening diseases among all age groups. Apart from all the anti – vaccination debates going on in most countries, it has eradicated some of the major diseases such as polio, small pox, and measles in most of the countries.
CONS:
It shouldn’t be made mandatory because a vaccine itself has many side effects which can vary from being mild to moderate to life threatening. The most serious side effect can lead to death. Moreover, with many vaccines the immunity is not lifelong. Sometimes the vaccines itself can cause a serious disease in a healthy individual. Knowing all these facts, making a vaccine mandatory for all individuals is a completely immoral and unethical decision to make.
PROS:
Vaccine is a natural method. It stimulates our immune system to release antibodies for a certain disease beforehead.it prepares the body for any type of exposure of the ‘real disease’. Vaccine stimulates the body to make ‘memory immunity’ which is a natural immune response.
