You should complete the final annual report project and submit its electronic version of the report. You should use the following book:

Introduction to the corporate annual report-a business application with IFRS content, 3rd by Stanko, B. and T. Zeller

Your company = Dow.

In completing the financial reporting project, you will be using "Introduction to the Corporate Annual Report - a business application with IFRS content, 3rd edition" to analyze a company.

You can find most of the information you need for your financial reporting project by referring to the company's 10-K.

The Form 10-K is a document that publicly traded companies file annually with the SEC. The Form 10-K contains the same financial statements that the company’s annual report does, but in a more detailed form. In addition to more detailed financial statements, the 10-K allows you to find out additional information such as the amount of stock options awarded to executives at the company. You can find your company’s Form 10-K by visiting your company’s website or going to the SEC.gov website.

Here is a link to a YouTube video that shows you how to find your company’s 10-K on the SEC site.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkpyuNEGO4A

The easiest way to find a company's 10-K would be to locate it on the company's website. For example. if you are looking for Dow Chemical Company's SEC 10-K by first finding Dow's corporate website. Here is the url for Dow's website --which you can find by performing a google search:

http://www.dow.com/

Then, click on "Investors" link. For some websites, you may need to click on "Company Information" link or the "About" link. Here is the url for Dow's "Investors" link:

http://www.dow.com/investors/

Then click on "Financial Information" --"SEC Filings"---here is the link for Dow's SEC Filings page:

http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=80099&p=irol-sec

Then, bring down the drop down menu for "All Forms" and select Annual Filings. Here is the link to Dow's page for Annual Filings.

http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=80099&p=irol-sec

Then, click on the latest 10-K --filed on 02/15/13--in the format you would like to use. I usually like the pdf format because it is easy to search.

Alternatively, you can access a company's SEC Form 10-K on the SEC website. Here is a link to a video that explains how.
