Rationale of my choice of nursing
Working within bounds of capability, working out specialized ‘duty of candour’ and levitation concern for patients or public safety at risk are possible in nursing practices (Giger, 2014). Necessary action can be taken for concerns, uphold reputation of profession every time. Exhibiting individual commitment to morals of implementation and conduct as set in the Code proves honesty and management in the nursing care practice for others to aspire to. Beginning to develop faith and assurance from patients, people getting care, healthcare specialists, and public are reasons inspiring nursing as profession. Exploring professional values like ethical practices, maintain standard of healthcare and safety norms during communication raise awareness for suitable practice (Ha

Following the NMC code, 2015, the name of the mental disorder patient is Sandy. At first, I focussed on understanding the personal history of Sandy and the reasons for his mental disorder. Accessing the electronic record system there was evidences of Sandy’s dementia problem found (Burgel, 2018). During my communication with Sandy in the Protected Engagement Time (PET), I found her expressing thoughts related to committing suicide as she thinks everyone will be better without her. According to me, this behaviour demonstrated that she was puzzled and had reached out hopes of getting treatment and care to recover her mental state. Based on this, I felt it compulsory to begin building a therapeutic relationship whereby I listened and spent time engaging in activities she enjoyed, in order to promote her participation in living. The nonve

I always smiled and nodded my head to make Sandy realize my presence and motivated her to react to my behaviour (Hsiao, et al., 2015).
