Choose one topic from below.
Topic 1
Democracies are less likely to go to war with other countries and also experience less domestic violence/war, compared to autocracies. According to the Selectorate Theory, this is all related to the political survival of the leader. Explain the relationship between war and political survival in democracies and autocracies. Then find two case studies (1 democracy and 1 autocracy) to demonstrate and support your argument.
Topic 2
Democracies offer more prosperity/development to their citizens compared to autocracies. Again, this is all related to the political survival of the leader. Explain the relationship between prosperity and political survival in democracies and autocracies using the Selectorate Theory. Then find two case studies (1 democracy and 1 autocracy) to demonstrate and support your argument.

The Selectorate Theory is the governmental theory that highlights the communicative relationship between the economic realities and the political survival strategies. This topic has been chosen, as this theory is applicable for all kind of organization with leadership, which means all type of non-sector farms and Private Corporation. On the other hand, in autocratic countries, the rights and freedom of the citizens are misguided as is maintained by only one group of people whose rights are mostly based on religious, caste, sex, which therefore interfere in the freedom of their citizens.
Thirdly, democratic countries have well organized and properly maintained constitutions, which thereby comprises of basic laws, rights and follow certain norms and decorum on the hand no such constitutions are found in autocratic countries as a result of which, domestic violence, in justice, in equality, gender biasness and many other misleading offensive activities are most common here.
Fourthly, the leaders in democratic countries come in power by several elections and voting system approved by the citizen of their country but on...
